Comments- "Keep up the good work"

"I've just had my first box and I am so pleased with it. It was so nicely presented, fresh, good value and the contents were such a nice surprise"

"We have had a number of boxes now which we pick up from Treverbyn.  It has changed the way we eat.  The vegetables and fruit are better quality than in the supermarkets (and much much cheaper and last longer) and carrots actually taste like carrots! It is nice to have vegetables that we wouldn't normally think of buying and it is really helpful to have a recipe for them."

Recipe comment

From time to time I get feedback about recipes I have included in the boxes.

The most recent recipe to cause a stir was the “Courgette and Rhubarb Pie” from 23rd April 2007. At the time people were saying “Surely you’re joking; that can’t be right. Courgette and Rhubarb!”

This week I was at Porthleven Children’s Centre. Caitlin (12), out of the blue, said, “The Courgette and Rhubarb Pie was delicious.” Her mother, Sharon told me she’d made it twice!

If you’ve missed it, look it up in the new section “Favourite recipes” on our website (see below for details)

Collecting boxes from Gulval school

We are always pleased with the contents of our box, but we just wanted to let you know that the last couple of weeks, in particular, have been fantastic.  We especially enjoyed the lovely colours a couple of weeks ago when we had the brocolli, red peppers and onions and purple cauliflower.  Our daughter, who won't touch the white variety, ate every bit on her plate and asked for more - a break through.

It's always fun to see what's going to be in the box each Friday.  We think they're great value and appreciate the truely "local" content.

We wanted to let you know that we really do appreciate our weekly box.  Please keep up the good work.
